Two stewards of the onboard service provider, SA Corporation (Hospitality Management and Brand Operation), have been permanently dismissed for black-marketing tickets of the Subarna Express train running from Dhaka to Chattogram.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Bangladesh Railway has initially fined the onboard service provider Tk7,500 and asked it to submit an explanation by 24 March, said a press release today (20 March).<\/p>\n

If the explanation is not satisfactory, legal action will be taken against the company.<\/p>\n

Recently, a video of two members of a ticket black-marketing syndicate involving tickets of the Dhaka\u2013Chattogram-bound Subarna Express went viral on social media after being published by an online portal.<\/p>\n

A preliminary investigation confirmed the authenticity of the video, and the involvement of two employees\u2014stewards Minhajul and Imran\u2014of the onboard service provider was proven beyond doubt.<\/p>\n

As a result, they have been permanently dismissed from their jobs. Additionally, the onboard service provider has been fined Tk7,500 initially.<\/p>\n
